Anchor Carrie Adams interviewed Richard Kershaw, Winemaker and Owner of Richard Kershaw Wines, and Judge for the 2013 Top 100 SA Wines Challenge on the results of the challenge. Carrie also interviewed Jeremy Sampson, Executive Chairman of Interbrand Sampson, and Visiting Professor at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business as well as a Classic Wine Magazine Contributor on tasting wines from the USA and comparing them with the top South African wines.

Jeremy and Carrie tasted the following wines from the USA: FLASQ Chardonnay 2009 (375ml) Monterey County; Hess Select Chardonnay 2010 Monterey County ($12.99); Meiomi Belle Glos Pinot Noir 2011 Sonorna Coast ($24.94); and Tertulia Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 Horse Heaven Hills ($24.94).

The wines from SA were: Mulderbosch Chardonnay 2011; Giorgio Dalla Cia 2007; and Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon 2009.
