In this edition of Classic Business, Presenter John Fraser reported on the main business, financial and economic news of the day in the first half of the programme. John also conducted in-depth interviews with the people making the news: Frans Cronje from the South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR) talked about land security; Willie Meyburgh from Stefanutti Stocks spoke about their new acquisition; Mohammed Varachia from the Morvest Business Group discussed their move to the JSE main board; and Koert Pretorius from Medi-Clinic Southern Africa reported on their major strategic step for the business. In the second half of the programme, John conducted the first of a four-part discussion on Entrepreneurship and Small Business with Frans Cronje from the SAIRR, Mario Pretorius from TeleMasters, Jeff Osborne from the Retail Motor Industry Organisation, and Fredell Jacobs from the South African Start-up Index.
