In this edition of Classic Business at 18h00, John Fraser broadcasted the business and economic news of the day followed by up-to-date financial indicators, and the Classic Business and News teams reported on current business news matters including the ArcelorMittal quarterly results, the call for a global tax at the G20 meeting, the offer to purchase African Brick, and an update on the Greek crisis. John also conducted in-depth interviews with the people making the news: Dennis Dykes, Chief Economist of the Nedbank Group on the global crisis; Neren Rau, CEO of the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) on their October Business Confidence Index (BCI); Marc Wainer, CEO of Redefine Properties on their final results; Doug Murray, CEO of the Foschini Group on their interim results; and Julian Roberts, CEO of Old Mutual plc on their quarterly results.
