From Monday to Thursday, between 17h30 and 18h30, Classic Business will bring you one hour of wall-to-wall business with in-depth interviews, company profiles and the very latest economic analysis. From 18h30 to 19h00, the Classic Business team explores the enterprising world of the broader political economy. In-studio guests will debate the big issues of the day along with Anchor Michael Avery. Classic Business on Friday ends the week with a half-hour round up of the week’s biggest business stories.

Ayesha Dawood, Managing Partner at Ayesha Dawood Attorneys will chat to Michael about why TV purchases may be a distant dream for SA’s shoppers.

Michael will examine the day’s market action with Andrew Newell, Head of Business Development at Cannon Asset Managers and the pair will bring you all the up-to-date business news, trends and daily indicators.

In the second part of the programme, from 18h30 to 19h00, Michael will host a discussion on planning for retirement with guests Rob Rusconi, Founder of Tres Consulting; David McCarthy, Retirement Policy Specialist at the National Treasury; and Dave Crawford, Certified Financial Planner at RetireSmart.
